Campgrounds in Monmouth and Ocean Counties
are all gearing up in anticipation of a great camping season. Attendance at the RV/Camping shows during the winter months was up about 30% with dealers saying that RV units are selling again. That's good news for the campgrounds as these new buyers will be visiting their facilities. Most of the campgrounds open April 1st, with a few the 15th. Several parks in the area are open year round for those hardy campers. The New Jersey Campground Owners Association offers a free 80 page, full color directory of all New Jersey campgrounds including State Parks with camping facilities.
